Career Connections Powered by 12Twenty
12Twenty is the online system used by West Texas A&M University's Office of Career and Professional Development (OCPD) to connect employers with WTAMU students and alumni. Employers may post full-time jobs which require a 4-year degree as well as part-time jobs, internships or seasonal/summer opportunities for FREE to all currently enrolled WTAMU students and alumni through Career Connections.
Once an employer's account has been approved, access to WTAMU students, alumni, and OCPD is possible 24/7. Through Handshake employers can:
- Post internships, full-time/degree required positions, and part-time positions
- Search user profiles to identify a pool of potential candidates to interview for full-time and internship openings
- Request and manage on-campus interviews
- Register for events hosted by OCPD such as Career EXPOS and Job Fairs
If you already have a 12Twenty account, use this link to connect with WTAMU. You will use your existing 12Twenty credentials to log into our site. If you do not have an account, you will click Sign up for an account located near the bottom left of the login screen.
If you need help creating your account, please do not hesitate to reach out to our office at (806) 651-2345.
Employers who use 12Twenty to interact with WTAMU students agree to abide by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Professional Standards for University Recruiting linked below.
Our office does not post jobs that require an upfront investment of money by our students.
West Texas A&M University's Office of Career and Professional Development (OCPD) resources are provided free of charge to employers and to student and alumni job seekers. All hiring and compensation for work performed by student employees is handled directly between the student and the employer. OCPD does not perform background checks on students applying for jobs, nor on employers posting job opportunities. Employers and students are encouraged to request reference information from each other as needed to establish qualifications, credentials, and overall fit between the employer and the student applicant.
All job listings are posted at the discretion of OCPD. We will not post jobs that appear to discriminate against applicants on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, national origin, or veteran status. OCPD also reserves the right to refuse to post jobs that do not support the interests of the University.
